(More customer reviews)One of my favorite things about the Incredible (and it's a long list - love the phone!) is how thin it is. I'm so used to big bulky phones, so this was a nice change. So understandably, I did not want a case that was going to ruin that. I tried a hard case (snap-on), but didn't like it and it was too hard to get off. I had gone through similar battles with these kind of cases with my iPod Touch, and finally settled on one just like this for that device. Since I was so happy with it, I decided to go with the same on my Incredible. Good choice!
Like many people, I like to have a case on my phone that provides a lot of "grip" because I am so prone to dropping it. I've tried many different silicone cases, and never been happy. What I especially like about this case is unlike the silicone, the material doesn't where out and lead to warped edges that cause the case to become lose and come off too easily. The material used in this case is known as Thermoplastic Polyurethanes (TPU), and it is much more rigid than silicone cases, but still has the advantage of a rubber-like texture that allows it to "grip" a surface. I can lay the phone on my car dashboard and it doesn't move. It has holes in the appropriate places (and well aligned, I might add) for the camera and flash, the headphone jack, and the USB port. The holes are sufficiently large so I never have to remove the case to use any of these ports. It is also raised slightly where the power button and volume rocker are located, so you can find these by touch. I like the pattern as well. It gives it a little visual interest without being obnoxious.
I chose this case based on the color. However, you will find the same product by searching for an "argyle case for htc incredible". As of this writing, all of the results are of the same material, just different colors.
Overall: Highly recommended, and unless I get sick of the color, I probably won't need another case for a LONG time!
