My computer runs Windows 7 64bit. I use media center for all my DVR needs, and I output to an HD front projector in my home theater room.
This card replaced my GeForce 7600, which was very old but still ran pretty well. The main reason I bought the Sapphire 5450 was because AMD/ATi finally put out a nice card that would pass HD audio through HDMI to the source. I was using optical SP/DIF before. The card does everything I am used to at good speeds. It's not much good for gaming, but I'm not a gamer so I don't care.
Great price for a great HTPC card. I recommend it.

(More customer reviews)I am very please with the performance of this card as it looks really good playing games like Crisis, Modern WarFare 2, Doom 3 and Unreal Tournament 3. I wanted to replace my old but fairly new card (GT 120) that came with my Gateway LX-6810 desktop pc. I had to purchase a new power supply to power this card as the recommends at a 600 watt power supply for this card. I found a good deal on Amazon for an 850 watt AK power supply for $49.99. With such a great price on the card and finding a great price on the power supply, there was no reason for me to not upgrade my pc. I bought this card because I wanted to be able to run Crisis at the full settings. This card allows me to max out all of my settings on the Crisis game upto 1680 x 1050 which is what my monitor's resolution can handle. It ran great but, I still think it runs better with slightly lower settings. Overall, this card looks and responds really great.

(More customer reviews)First note I'm a long time Nvidia user, so I was concerned about this card. Replaced my 8500GT 512 MB with this one. The 4670 was easy to install, has less power consumption, doesn't overheat, and superb performance.
I have noticed significant improvement in all my games. Were I was playing Fallout 3 at maximum of 1280x1024 on high settings with some lag, now I'm playing at 1440x900 in ulta high settings and no lag.
2 downsides for me was the audio built into the video card since it disable my onboard sound and I have no hookups for this type of audio. Disabled it and all was well.
Second was I was used to my screen auto adjusting to various resolutions in games. This one doesn't do that like my 8500GT did, so I found had to set resolution to a specific one to account for my widescreen, no big deal just annoying if you're not used to it lol.

(More customer reviews)If you are looking for a card that is small in size, quiet, but still powerful this is the one you want to get!
Most graphic cards nowadays are so bulky and long that they don't even fit in a regular case but this one does perfectly and isn't heavy or long.
It's pretty quiet and runs very cool. It's about the same performance has a HD4870.
The only con is that you have to do an easy BIOS update on the card to unlock the true 800 shaders.
