Picture King model is easier to setup and take down. The tripod legs pop out easily with a gentle push on foot operated release latch. The Versatol is clumsy to setup and take down.
This model is 3 pounds heavier due to the sturdy metal frame and fittings - 33 lbs.
Height adjustments at 6" stops are handy design that is lacking in the cheaper model; it locks into place at up 8' 6" ceiling height... (one step down onto floor in sunken family room). So, be careful not to damage ceiling under standard 8 foot heights.
The glass bead impregnated into screen is helpful when absolute darkness is impractical; images are sharp and color saturation is good. This screen fabric isn't designed for laundering - keep children away (using seat belts ;-). Best viewing is always obtained in darkened room.
Wide screen models exist, but that isn't important with projection screens. They are fully adjustable to accomodate any aspect ratio desired. Sales and marketing hype doesn't apply here... beware of higher prices if widescreen is advertised.
Excellent product that should last for many years under regular use. I'll use it for high resolution photo shows, and powerpoint presentations. Highly recommended!
